Membership

New membership is open to all adults who are able to attend monthly meetings. Prospective members are welcome to come along to one of our meetings as a guest where they can meet other members and see how we operate. Prospective members need no particular expertise.

All members pay a fixed standing order between £25  and £50pm - this buys units at the price set by the previous months' valuation. In addition there is an initial payment in the range £50 to £750, which is also used to buy units. There is an annual payment of £50 which goes towards the cost of the meeting room and  free drink at each meeting.  

 Any member can propose share purchases or sales which, following discussion, a vote decides whether to proceed. For full details of membership and club operation please refer to the Club Rules and The Constitution.

In due course we would expect new members to take some responsibility in the running of the club. Current roles include; Chairman, Treasurer, Dealer, Tax Auditor, Digital Media, Secretary and deputies for each of these positions.
